OPPO Find X9s First Look - Slight different specs, flagship features
The Find X9s looks and feels nearly identical to the OPPO Find X9 introduced late last year. It measures 156.98 x 73.93 x 7.99 mm and weighs 202 grams.
It comes in multiple new colorways, including Sunset Orange, Lavender Sky, and Midnight Grey. It has earned the Swiss SGS five-star certification for drop and impact resistance and an IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
It also has the Snap Key, which can be customized.

| OPPO Find X9s' front screen |
In front is the 6.59-inch flat LTPS AMOLED screen with a 2,760 x 1,256 resolution, a 3,600 nits peak brightness, a 1-120Hz Adaptive Refresh rate, and 3,840Hz PWM Dimming. It supports 10-bit color and covers 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
Around the panel are 1.15mm symmetrical bezels. Under the panel is the 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
It is one of the first smartphones to come with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is cooled with a 32,052.5mm² vapor chamber cooling. Alongside are the 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Powering the phone is the 7,025mAh 3rd generation OPPO Silicon Carbon battery. And even though it has a significantly larger capacity than the Find X8's 5,630mAh, the phone remains 7.99mm slim. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC Fast wired charging via USB-C.
We didn't have time to benchmark the phone, but it should be within range with the Find X9.

| OPPO Find X9s packaging |
The upcoming OPPO Find X9s looks to be a good alternative to the original Find X9. We have no idea on pricing yet, but we expect it to be priced within the range of the original.
It offers nearly identical looks, build, design, and performance to the original, which means you are getting a similar flagship experience with slightly different specs.
Ultimately, the price will dictate whether this will be a value-for-money premium phone with flagship capabilities.
Stay tuned for upcoming details on availability, pre-orders, and pricing.
