HONOR 600 and 600 Pro now official in PH: 200MP cameras, AI image to video 2.0, PHP 25,999 starting price

After several teasers, the HONOR 600 Series goes official in the Philippines.

The HONOR 600 and 600 Pro carry a design closely resembling the iPhone 17 series aesthetic. 

The vanilla model is available in three colorways: Orange, Golden White, and Black. While the Pro is only available in the Orange colorway. Additionally, you can also distinguish the latter by its metal frame and cold-carved glass back.

Both devices are also rated IP68/69/69K for dust and water resistance and hold an SGS 5-star certification for both drop and crush protection.

Both devices share an identical 6.57-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 2,728 x 1,264 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, reaching a peak brightness of 8,000 nits for clear outdoor visibility.

Both also have 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 3840Hz PWM dimming, LTPS 10-bit panel with the selfie camera housed in a centered punch-hole cutout.

Under the hood, the base model runs on a mid-range 2.8GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor alongside 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage.

Meanwhile, the HONOR 600 Pro uses a stronger Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage.

Powering these devices is a 7,000mAh battery, which is supported by an 80W USB-C HONOR SuperCharge adapter. But the Pro gets an additional 50W wireless charging support.

The cameras

The camera systems are largely similar at the base, with both phones featuring a 200MP f/1.9 1/4-inch main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 12MP ultra-wide camera w/ 2.5cm macro. While the Pro swaps the macro functionality for a dedicated 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera. 

Both share an identical 50MP front camera with 4K video recording support.

Each phone includes stereo speakers and a dedicated AI button, and an in-display fingerprint reader.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM functionality. Although the 600 Pro has Bluetooth 6.0.

The HONOR 600 ships with Android 16 as its operating system, overlaid with the company's MagicOS 10 skin.

Both phones run MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 straight out of the box. Furthermore, it has an AI image-to-video 2.0, which can turn static photos into realistic animations with the ability for prompting, thus letting users dictate what they want to happen with their content.
