Premium Productivity Powerhouse?
The MatePad Pro Max features a sleek full-metal unibody design and an innovative Cloud Flacon Architecture. At just 4.7mm thick at its slimmest point and weighs 499 grams for the standard edition or 509 grams for the PaperMatte Edition.
HUAWEI is claiming that it will deliver exceptional portability without sacrificing durability. It is even the first tablet to receive the TUV Rheinland Ultra-thin Bending Resistance Certification, boasting a 60 percent bending resistance compared to the previous generation.
It features a premium luminous finish that creates a shifting light effect that makes the tablet supposedly look and feel luxurious while being highly practical for on-the-go use.
At the back of the tablet is a circular camera module that houses the 50MP f/1.8 True-to-Color main camera, while in front is the 12MP hidden camera.
At the heart of the tablet is the massive 13.2-inch Flexible OLED PaperMatte Display with a 3,000 x 2,000 resolution, a 1,600 nits peak brightness, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Around the panel is a 3.55mm bezel with a 94 percent screen-to-body refresh rate.
HUAWEI says that its advanced nanoscale anti-glare etching technology provides a paper-like texture that reduces reflections and sparkle, making it ideal for reading, note-taking, and digital drawing. It carries TUV Rheinland Full Care Display 5.0 for excellent eye comfort and should deliver clearer visuals.
Under the hood is an unnamed SoC, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB of storage, and a 10,400mAh battery with 66W Fast wired charging via USB-C. It also supports 40W reverse wired charging.
HUAWEI is claiming that the internals deliver 30 percent better heat dissipation because of the larger area and advanced materials.
Around the tablet are the six speakers powered by HUAWEI SOUND that have quad-base drivers that offer 67 percent higher volume, 33 percent higher frequency response, and 167 percent stronger low-frequency performance.

Connectivity with the tablet gets improved from the Smart Antenna 2.0, and it supports WiFi 7 and NearLink.
The MatePad Pro Max runs on HarmonyOS 4.3, and it should deliver PC-level multitasking with features like Live-Multitask, enhanced HUAWEI Notes, and the new GoPaint App for professional digital artwork when paired with HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro.
It works seamlessly with the lightweight HUAWEI Glide Keyboard, which turns the tablet into a highly productive machine with advanced WPS Office features and AI tools.
