Infinix GT 50 Pro to launch on June 10, hailed as MPL PH S17 tournament phone

Infinix finally revealed the launch date for its upcoming gaming phone, known as the GT 50 Pro.

Mobile gaming places significant demands on modern smartphones. Extended sessions and graphically intensive games can cause devices to overheat, leading to frame drops and performance throttling. 

For casual players, this disrupts the experience; for competitive eSports athletes, even minor lag can affect match outcomes.

Infinix is addressing these challenges with the upcoming launch of its latest esports contender, the Infinix GT 50 Pro.

Active HydroFlow Liquid Cooling

A central feature of the GT 50 Pro is the proprietary HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system, which the company describes as an industry-first thermal management solution. 

The cooling technology

Unlike traditional passive cooling methods, the system uses a dual-piezoelectric ceramic pump to actively circulate coolant through laser-engraved channels, dissipating heat away from key internal components such as the processor and battery.

The cooling architecture is built directly into the main heat sink, covering all of the device's core components. Infinix says this design minimizes thermal buildup at the source, helps prevent performance throttling, and stabilizes frame rates during high-demand gaming sessions, with support for native 144FPS output.

The HydroFlow system offers three selectable modes. Smart Mode automatically adjusts flow velocity based on usage conditions. Normal Mode runs at a lower flow velocity for everyday tasks. Rapid Mode increases flow velocity for more intensive workloads and gaming sessions.

The GT 50 Pro is also compatible with the GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0, an external accessory that combines wireless bypass charging with additional cooling. Rather than cycling power through the battery, the accessory directs power directly into the phone's system, creating what Infinix calls a dual-cooling ecosystem.

Largest 3D Vapor Chamber in GT Series History

The device features a 7,700 mm² 3D Vapor Chamber and a total cooling area of 32,700 mm², which Infinix says is 63.5% larger than the previous generation. The expanded vapor chamber works alongside ultra-large graphite cooling layers to manage heat during prolonged use, including extended gaming sessions, streaming, and multitasking.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro has been named the official gaming phone of MPL PH (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines). The device is intended to meet the performance and stability demands of professional-level competitive play.

Launch and Pre-Sale Details

The GT 50 Pro officially launches on June 10. A nationwide offline pre-sale runs from May 29 through June 10, during which customers who reserve a unit early can receive up to PHP 11,999 worth of freebies and discounts. Reservations can be made at any official Infinix concept store or kiosk.
