Global OPPO Enco Air5 unveiled: 12mm dynamic drivers, up to 52dB ANC, and AI-rich features

Apart from the Enco Air 5s, there's also the traditional earbuds launched globally in the form of Enco Air5.

To recap, its main highlight is the active noise cancellation (ANC) that OPPO rates at up to 52dB across a 5,000Hz range, paired with a triple-microphone setup designed to keep calls clear—even when wind speeds reach up to 25km/h.

Under the hood, the Enco Air 5 uses 12mm dynamic drivers and offers

a 10-band equalizer that users can tweak to their liking, along with AAC and SBC codec support, spatial audio, and sound profiles built specifically for gaming. For anyone gaming or watching video, there's also a low-latency mode that brings response times down to 47ms.

The features

OPPO kept things light on the hardware side too: each earbud weighs just 4.3 grams, with an IP55 rating that should hold up against dust and the occasional splash. The charging case adds 43.5 grams to the mix.

As for battery life, OPPO says you can expect about 13 hours of listening on a single charge, stretching to 54 hours when you factor in the case. Turn on ANC, though, and those numbers come down to 6.5 hours and 27 hours. A quick 10-minute charge is said to buy you roughly four more hours of playback.

Rounding out the feature list: in-ear detection, customizable touch controls, the ability to use the earbuds as a remote camera shutter, and AI-powered translation covering 24 languages.

On the connectivity front, the earbuds run Bluetooth 6.1 and support dual-device pairing, so switching audio between two gadgets happens without much fuss.
