The new Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition is now listed at Shopee Philippines for PHP 35,999 SRP. But from August 1 at 12 AM to August 9, 2026, midnight, the device will get a discounted rate as low as PHP 24,999.

The cooling system

The new nubia NEO 5 GT 5G Special Edition highlights the AquaCore Cooling System, the first in its class to combine dual active liquid and air cooling for sustained performance.

At its core is Flowing Liquid Cooling, driven by a piezoelectric micropump circulating AI server‑grade coolant, paired with an Active Cooling Fan that uses a high‑speed through‑flow duct.

According to the company, it covers an expansive 33,652mm² cooling area, enabling up to one hour of gaming at a remarkable 119.96 FPS while keeping temperatures at just 38.9-degrees Celcius together.

With 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0

For gaming, the device is also packed with the 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0, which is touted as the fastest shoulder triggers in the industry. This features a 3049Hz instant touch rate and Magic Touch 3.0 for responsiveness even with sweaty fingers. 

It also has a flat back design and an IP64 dust and water resistance.

In front, the device uses a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen w/ 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

Inside, the ZTE-related company claimed that it has a MediaTek 4nm chipset with 12GB RAM (up to 24GB Dynamic RAM), 256GB storage, and a large 6,210mAh battery capacity with USB-C 80W fast charging and bypass charging.

For extra convenience, the company added a 90-degree charging cable.

The device also has a 50MP AI dual camera with up to 4K video recording and a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features include the DTS:X Ultra speakers and X‑axis linear motor.

The device runs on Android 16 with 5 years of guaranteed software updates, ensuring long‑term stability and smooth performance.
