The biggest official 30th anniversary celebrations are set to take place in the Philippines. The Pokémon Company has unveiled a massive lineup of events, including a special running festival, the country's first Pokémon Center POP-UP Store, and the exciting PokéXciting! party. All of the kicks off in Manila and spreads across major SM Supermalls.

Pokémon RUN 30 - Run Into the Future

The celebration lights up early with Pokémon RUN 30: Philippines Edition on October 3-4, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia. 

• Distance - 5KM Fun Run (perfect for casual runners, families, kids, and Pokémon enthusiasts)
• Fees: Standard PHP 2,450 and Premium PHP 3,450
• Run inclusions: Official runner’s kit with a themed T-shirt, drawstring bag, type-themed bib (Grass/Fire/Water), Poké Ball armband, lenticular starter Pokémon card, TCG booster pack, and more. Premium adds a Pikachu Shoulder Plushie.

Participants choose a starter Pokémon, tackle interactive challenges like Pokémon Gym obstacles, Pokémon tasks, and refresh at Pokémon Centers along the route. Finishers get to see their partner Pokémon 'evolve' with them! A free Pokémon Festival Zone open to the public will feature the POP-UP store, gaming zones, Pikachu parades, photo spots, and more.

From October 2026 to January 2027, the Philippines will get its very first limited-time Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE at SM Mall of Asia. Expect exclusive 30th anniversary merchandise, plushies, trading cards, and special items alongside TCG tutorials and gaming booths.

Complementing this is the six-month 'Celebrate 30 Years of Pokémon at SM Malls' event running from October 2026 to March 2027 across these locations:

A limited-edition 30th anniversary tote bag is available with a minimum purchase of PHP 3,500.

PokéXciting! in Manila, the ultimate Party Celebration

PokéXciting! will be the grand finale of the celebration

The grand finale arrives on January 23-24, 2027, with PokéXciting! in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia, and will be completely free admission for everyone.
