New-gen of advanced fitness companion
Samsung has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch lineup, introducing the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9.
Both devices are powered by Qualcomm’s 3nm Penta-Core Snapdragon Wear Elite (SDW6100) processor, delivering improvements in battery capacity, display brightness, and processing efficiency over previous generations.
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
Designed for rugged use and outdoor tracking, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 comes in a single 47mm size with a shock-resistant titanium case that is 12% thinner than its predecessor.
It features a 1.52-inch Sapphire Crystal Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and contains an 800mAh battery, representing a 35% increase from the prior Ultra model.

For outdoor activities, the watch includes a Trail Run mode that measures elevation and terrain impact, as well as a Nutrition Alert system that estimates sweat loss for hydration tracking.
The device holds IP69K, 10ATM, and EN13319 certifications for water and dust resistance, and includes a built-in Ultra 2 Diving app to monitor underwater depth, duration, and water temperature. It comes equipped with 64GB of internal storage.
Galaxy Watch 9
Targeted toward general health and daily activity, the standard Galaxy Watch 9 is offered in 40mm and 44mm sizes featuring an aluminum casing.
Its display reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Battery capacities are rated at 390mAh for the 40mm variant and 445mAh for the 44mm version, with the model offering 32GB of internal storage.

Both models run on Wear OS 7 with Samsung’s One UI 9 Watch interface and include 2GB of RAM. Health monitoring across both devices is driven by Samsung’s BioActive sensor, which provides FDA-cleared Sleep Apnea detection, a Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load tracking for workout recovery, and environmental noise exposure monitoring via a Hearing feature.
