Sennheiser Accentum Clip launched: Open-Ear clip-on design, 12m drivers, and IP54

Clip-on earbuds are gaining popularity

Sennheiser has just dropped the Accentum Clip, a fresh take on the open-ear true wireless earbuds that supposedly prioritize premium audio, all-day comfort, and real-world awareness.

It utilizes a clever open-ear clip design with a flexible silicone bridge that gently hugs the outer ear. This keeps the 12mm drivers perfectly for optimal sound delivery without inserting anything into the ear canal, delivering a natural ambient awareness so you stay connected to your surroundings during commutes, workouts, or casual strolls.

Each earbuds weigh 6.8 grams, which makes them feel almost nonexistent during extended wear. The charging case weighs 57 grams and measures 65.5 x 48 x 31.2mm. 

The buds and case are made with premium and durable materials that earned the product an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. 

Inside the buds is a 55mAh battery, while the case carries a 545mAh battery. It charges via USB-C, and 10 minutes of charge should yield 2 hours of playback.

At the heart of the earbuds are the 12mm dynamic drivers that should deliver clarity, punchy bass, and smooth treble. It is Hi-Res Audio wireless certified and comes with a Dynamic EQ that intelligently adjusts for volume changes. 

It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 6.0 and supports multipoint connections and Google Fast Pair. It supports the SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs.

Call quality gets a boost from dual MEMS microphones per bud paired with AI noise reduction to keep your voice clear in noisy environments. The Smart Control Plus app adds customization via a 5-band EQ, presets, and Sound Check tools for personalized tuning. Sound leakage is minimized through precise speaker geometry and internal damping, keeping your music private.

The clip-style earbuds have begun rolling out in China; however, there is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
