Highly efficient display tech + flagship performance

REDMI had previously disclosed that the K100 Pro Max would feature a 6.9-inch display, and has now added that the panel will offer 2K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate, and M11 AMOLED luminescent material, with peak brightness reaching up to 4,500 nits and a 4800Hz touch sampling rate, according to the company.

The Chinese tech firm has also shared further details on the display technology used in the K100 Pro series.

According to the company, the new panel uses M11 OLED light-emitting material paired with a next-generation "Super Pixel" architecture, aimed at delivering sharper visuals alongside improved power efficiency.

REDMI states that the M11 OLED material improves green-pixel efficiency by 20 percent, covers 90 percent of the BT.2020 color gamut, and extends panel lifespan by 5.2 percent compared to previous materials.

The Super Pixel architecture, meanwhile, uses a full RGB sub-pixel layout, giving the K100 Pro Max's 6.9-inch display a total of 9.389 million sub-pixels. Despite delivering 2K-level image quality, the panel is claimed to consume less power than typical 1.5K displays.

In terms of design, the K100 Pro Max is expected to closely resemble its predecessor, the K90 Pro Max, retaining features such as the Bose-powered woofer on the rear panel.

Meanwhile, the device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a dedicated D2 display chip.

On the power front, the phone is rumored to house a 9,070mAh battery with 100W wired charging support, along with a 200-megapixel main camera.

Xiaomi has already opened pre-reservations for the Redmi K100 Pro series on its official online store in China, with further details on the lineup expected in the coming days.
