Infinix GT NX Controler, NX Station launched in PH, starts at PHP 2,583

After the teaser, Infinix expands its GT accessories by adding a controller and a docking station for its GT Series phones.

According to the brand, the two new mobile gaming peripherals called GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station were designed to improve precision, latency, cooling, and connectivity for serious mobile players.

GT NX Controller

The GT NX Controller adds physical buttons and sticks while retaining the fine control of touchscreen play. 

Infinix describes its Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad as the first of its kind on a mobile gaming controller. 

Compatibility with models

The large glass touchpad supports both swiping and a more mouse-like mode. The company says this suits first-person shooters and allows flexible input mapping for MOBAs and other games.

Internally, the controller uses an esports-grade, three-chip low-latency design, with two chips in the left handle and one in the right. This powers what Infinix calls millisecond-level Direct Connect, intended to keep inputs fast and consistent during intense matches.

The features

Battery life is rated at more than 22 hours. Haptic feedback can be set to one of three intensity levels through the XArena app, and Infinix says the result comes close to the feel of a handheld console. 

The grips are ergonomic and anti-slip, with laser etching, to keep the controller comfortable over longer sessions. It can be clamped to a phone or a desk, or used one-handed on the go.

GT NX Station

For this device, Infinix says it is a 9-in-1 expansion dock with thermoelectric (TEC) cooling, which is designed to prevent the phone from thermal throttling during extended, high-performance play. 

Play on bigger screens, get it cooled

On compatible external screens, the dock supports Universal Extend and Mirror modes, allowing players to use a larger display while the phone handles secondary tasks or turns off its own screen.

For connectivity, the dock offers HDMI output, RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, one with PD input, a USB-C host cable, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack

It also features dynamic RGB lighting. According to Infinix, the dock is meant to replace several separate accessories by combining cooling, wired networking, display output, charging and expansion ports in one unit.
