SanDisk Reveals New Mobile Storage Solutions, Highlights USB Type C Flash Drive

Yesterday, SanDisk held and event to showcase their latest line-up of mobile storage solutions to fit different devices including iPhones, iPads, PC's and Android devices. What's interesting there is they also highlighted a USB Type C mobile storage which will be the trend in the near future.

First is the SanDisk Ultra USB Type C Flash Drive - one of the very rare Flash Drive that touts a USB Type C connection. As a matter of fact, it is the company's first of such kind. It can deliver read speed of up to 150 MB/s on USB 3.1. What's interesting here is it can be used as an OTG storage for smartphones with that type of port.

It comes in 16 GB (699 Pesos), 32 GB (999 Pesos), 64 GB (1,699 Pesos) and 128 GB for (3,099 Pesos).

Next is the iXpand Flash Drive which is a good way in expanding the capacity of your iOS devices. It works like an OTG drive with a lighting port on one side and has USB 3.0 on the other end in case you wanted to transfer files between PC and Mac.

It comes in 16 GB (2,799 Pesos), 32 GB (3,799 Pesos), 64 GB (5,199 Pesos) and 128 GB (7,999 Pesos).

SanDisk also introduced the next generation Dual USB Drive 3.0. Being one of their most popular products, what's interesting here is it now supports up to 128 GB wherein you can store a lot of files. It still has a micro USB port on one side and a full sized USB 3.0 on the next end.

The best part there is it only retails for 2,849 Pesos, which is very affordable for a nifty storage device of such kind.

Lastly, there goes the SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC UHS-II that's built for those who have speed of cards in mind. It has 3x the speed of older UHS-I cards that supports up to 275 MB/s of file transfer. That insane speed is perfect for recording ultra high definition contents like 4K videos.

It comes in 64 GB (8,999 Pesos) and 128 GB (17,499 Pesos) storage options.
