In China, Oppo just announced the A59, their next gen midrange handset that features great specs for the asking price.

The Oppo A59 features a beautiful full metal unibody design w/ Zirconium metal finish and a slimness of just 7.38 mm. It goes with a casual sized 5.5 inch screen w/ 2.5D glass, the new 1.5 GHz 64 Bit MT6750 octa core processor paired with Mali T860 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB expandable ROM and 3,075 mAh battery capacity.
The camera looks okay too as it boast an f/2.0 13 MP main camera w/ PDAF and LED flash and an 8 MP f/2.2 main camera.
It also has LTE w/ VoLTE connectivity and special type of fingerprint scanner in front w/ 0.22 seconds unlocking speed. However, this phone is still on Android 5.1 Lollipop, so let's hope that Oppo will give this one an update soon.

The Oppo A59 will retail at 1,799 Yuan which is around under 13K out of straight conversion. It will be available in China first starting this June 18 and there's still no word about its international availability.
