At the IFA 2016, Samsung Electronics just presented its next generation smart wearable in the form of the Gear S3. As the follow-up to the Gear S2, the Gear S3 now boast several notable improvements from its predecessor.
|Gear S3, Classic and Frontier|
It now boast a bigger screen that's now equipped with the new Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ for wearables. The Gear S3 still has the popular rotating bezel and will come in two variants, the Classic and the Frontier (military grade hardware). The timepiece is also equipped with GPS, LTE, NFC, and IP68 water / dust resistance.
In terms of software, the display now recognize hand written text ala Note, reminders apps, and the rotating bezel can now be used to accept or decline calls.
