At CES 2017, TCL, the new makers of BlackBerry teased the upcoming "Mercury Android smartphone.

Based on reports and images, the prototype unit of the BlackBerry Mercury boast a throwback solid BlackBerry design with actual full sized keyboard that's should feel very good to press. It also has at least a 4.5 inch to 4.7 inch touch screen panel with full HD (1080p) sharp type of resolution.

However, the company was hesitant to reveal any hardware specifications at this point even if they have the prototype unit on display already. Going to the rumored specs, the device might carry the 64 bit Snapdragon 821 quad core processor, Adreno 530 graphic unit, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB storage.
There are also rumors that it might be a more midrange type of handset with Snapdragon 625 processor and unconventional 1620 x 1080 screen resolution.
For now, all we can do is wait until MWC 2017 for more info. This is still an exciting development.
