Audemars Piguet x Swatch on May 16
This is HUGE for watch fans as Audemars Piguet is universally recognized as one of the "big 3 watch brands" in the world, thanks to its Royal Oak line.
Traditionally reserved for the wealthy, the AP watch branding may now find its way onto middle‑class wrists through this Swatch collaboration, bringing the "Swiss prestige" within reach.
Based on the teaser from Swatch, whatever they will release that is co-branded with AP will be called the "Royal Pop".
The teaser also showed that it has an automatic mechanical watch movement, unlike the MISSION TO THE MOON Series with quartz movement.
Swatch's previous teasers also hinted at Blue and Green with dotted patterns, suggesting that this "Royal Pop" watch will feature colorful, fun finishes.
Leaks hint at a pop‑style watch design, complete with a detachable lanyard inspired by the Royal Oak silhouette.
Introducing Audemars Piguet x Swatch, a disruptive collaboration that fuses joyful boldness and positive provocation with the art of haute horlogerie. Two Swiss icons come together to reimagine a complete new way to wear time and bring future generations to the world of mechanical watches. Stay tuned! | Swiss Luxury Watches
Aside from these details, Audemars Piguet and Swatch have yet to reveal the official design and materials for the upcoming line.
The Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop will be released on May 16, 2026.
