Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop is now official

As expected, it has the modular creativity of the Swatch POP line from the 1980s, combined with Audemars Piguet's iconic Royal Oak octagonal bezel and eight hexagonal screws.

It has a 40mm diameter and is 8.4mm thick.

Instead of stainless steel, it will use the same Bioceramic material found on the Swatch x Omega MoonSwatch and Blancpain x Swatch Fifty Fathoms (probably to further drive the cost down).

To recap, Bioceramic was developed and patented by Swatch. It combines two‑thirds high‑end ceramic with one‑third biosourced material derived from castor oil, resulting in a durable material with a smooth, silky matte finish.

This also has 20 meters of water resistance for added protection.

For style? The watch could be worn around the neck, the wrist, in your pocket, or even be clipped to a bag like a Labubu charm.
The movement
The movement

Inside the watch is Swatch's brand-new hand-wound version of the SISTEM51 movement. Claimed as the only fully automated mechanical movement, this Swiss‑made caliber now comes in a hand‑wound version without a central screw.

Factory‑set by laser, the movement runs -5/+15 seconds per day and holds 90 hours of power.

Each model also comes in two styles: Lépine (classic) or Savonnette (with small seconds). The skeleton barrel comes with color cues—grey when winding, gold at full power—visible through a Pop Art‑styled caseback.

Colors available are Otto Rosso, Huit Blanc, Green Eight, Blaue Acht, Lan Ba, Otg Roz, Ocho Negro, and Orenji Hachi.

Both front and back use sapphire glass.

Basically, the Swatch tie‑up brings Audemars Piguet's luxury Swiss heritage closer to everyday wrists.
