It's no secret that Lenovo's Moto brand will hold an event this upcoming MWC 2017. They're expected to launch the new G5 series as a follow-up to the G4 line with strong global following in the midrange segment.
That speculation is actually correct based on the newly leaked details about the G5 series. Spanish retailer Ktronix accidentally made the specs and images of the devices live. Here's what we need to know.
The Moto G5 has a 5 inch FHD 1080p screen, 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 chip, Adreno 505 GPU, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB expandable storage, 2,800 mAh battery (removable), 13 MP main camera, 5 MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM card slots.
|Moto G5 Plus|
The Moto G5 Plus on the other hand has a bigger 5.2 inch FHD Super AMOLED screen w/ Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Snapdragon 625 octa core processor, 2 GB RAM (a bit odd and low), 64 GB expandable to 128 GB storage, 3,000 mAh battery, 12 MP (rapid focus) main camera w/ LED flash, 5 MP selfie camera, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM slots.
Both loads with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. There's no price yet as well. Stay tuned!
