OPPO R11s and R11s Plus FHD+ 18:9 screen goes official

In an event in China, OPPO has finally unveiled the hotly anticipated R11s and R11s Plus, the company's newest "flagships" w/ the trendy FHD+ 18:9 screens!

OPPO has also introduced the phone's "crescent arcs", to prevent the user's hands from blocking the audio coming out of the speaker while playing games or watching movies / videos. OPPO has redesigned the headphone jack and micro USB port to make this feature possible.

The OPPO R11s has a 6.01-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, and 3,205mAh battery. On the other hand, the OPPO R11s Plus has a bigger 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, 6GB RAM, and 4,000mAh battery capacity.

Both phones also boasts Gorilla Glass 5 proctection, Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 660 octa core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, Adreno 512 GPU, and 64GB expandable storage up to 256GB.

Both handsets also arrived w/ a dual rear camera setup. It has a 20MP + 16MP combo w/ f/1.7 aperture size on each sensor and dual tone LED flash. In front, it has 20MP sensor w/ A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology like the OPPO F5.

The phones also has WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS, A-GPS, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS w/ ColorOS 3.2 skin. These devices also has face unlock technology that can act in 0.08 seconds.

The OPPO R11s has an SRP of CNY 2,999 (around PHP 24K) in black and champagne gold colors. There's a special Red edition as well for CNY 3,199 (around PHP 25K). It will go on sale in China starting November 10.

The OPPO R11s Plus retails for CNY 3,699 (around PHP 28.7K) and will be available in black and gold colors. The R11s Plus will be on sale from November 24.

There's no word yet on international availability though.
