Vivo announces Nougat update for V5 Plus and V5s!

Previously, we reported that Vivo now has an upgrade to Nougat OS for the V5. Today, Vivo Philippines has announced that V5 Plus and V5s will be updated too!

According to the Vivo's Facebook page, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is now available for V5 Plus and V5s aside from the regular V5.

In case you missed it, the Nougat update brings Google's fresher Android UI, improved battery performance, optimizations to speed up your phone, and security updates.

Like with V5, V5 Plus and V5s users may need to visit the nearest Vivo service center to your area and ask the Vivo representative there to upgrade your unit to Android Nougat for FREE.

As a quick recap, the Vivo V5 Plus is the higher-end Vivo selfie phone equipped w/ a 5.5-inch FHD screen, Snapdragon 625 chip, and dual selfie camera. On the other than, the Vivo V5s is the slight upgrade of Vivo V5 with newer design and more storage. It still has the 20MP selfie camera w/ softlight flash.
