ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 will come with Snapdragon 636 inside and "pure" Oreo OS

New details regarding ASUS's upcoming ZenFone Max Pro M1 have emerge. According to leaks, it'll come with a 6-inch 18:9 screen, 14 nm based Snapdragon 636 chipset inside, Adreno 509 GPU, massive 5,000mAh battery, and "pure" Android Oreo operating system.

We are unsure about the "pure" Android Oreo operating system yet though. But, there is a good chance that this handset will be an Android One powered device with pure Android.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is also said to feature up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. Most likely, the handset will also come with a lower-end 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant. It'll be expandable via the dedicated microSD card slot.

It'll also pack a dual 16MP camera at the back with portrait mode and a single 16MP selfie snapper in front with softlight LED flash and face unlock.

It also has a fingerprint scanner behind, 5 magnet speaker with NXP smart amp, and dual SIM card slots.

The handset will be revealed in India on April 23.
