It passes the Qi Wireless Standards that Samsung has been using for years. Apple has also supported this with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and iPhone X!

This charger is unique for three reasons: 1. Dual Coil design 2. Rear Cooling Vent 3. Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility.

The AirAmp is a product that aims to solve the problems with most wireless charging docks out there. Inside the box are documentation, the AirAmp, and the USB type-A to USB Type-C cable.

The AirAmp itself is made of polycarbonate with somewhat of a matte texture. It is lightweight but solid.

The first is that it boasts Quick Charge 3.0 support. This means that you can plug any Quick Charge compatible power plug or power bank and it will power the AirAmp and charge your device quickly.

Next is it has a Dual Coil design instead of one. This allows for both portrait and landscape positioned charging. You are not limited by portrait mode like most chargers out there. This effectively allows you to charge your phone while viewing the phone in landscape mode when you are consuming content.

Lastly is that it has a Rear Cooling Vent at the back which most wireless charge don't have. It allows for efficient cooling and dispersion of heat that is generated when charging. This effectively makes sure that your phone and the charger lasts longer and prevents heat related damage.

We used both the Apple iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S9+ to charge with the AirAmp.

It takes us under 90 minutes to charge the S9+ with the stock Quick Charge plug and USB Type-C cable. With the Air Amp we were able to charge the phone under 120 minutes or 2 hours!

The charging time isn't as fast as plugging it into their respective proprietary cables but it is still way faster than charging without Quick Charge.

It retails for PHP 1,499 and is now available at SM San Lazaro, SM Southmall and Shopee.
