As expected, Samsung has unleashed the Galaxy J8 (2018) in India. It's the latest handset of the Korean company equipped with mid-range grade specs.

Under the hood, it runs with Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM expandable to 256GB via microSD card, and ample 3,500mAh battery capacity.
On the camera part, it has a dual camera setup with 16MP f/1.7 lens paired with a 5MP f/1.9 depth sensor. For selfies, it goes with a 16MP f/1.9 setup.
Samsung also added a cool features with the help of the dual camera like background blur shape, portrait dolly, and portrait backdrop.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) is designed for millennials who needs a stylish looking device with big screen and dual cameras. The background blur shape adds softlight effect with different shapes, the portrait dolly delivers a moving GIF image with zoom movements in the background, and the portrait backdrop gives funky background effects.
This device also has a fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity, GPS, A-GPS, and dual SIM slots. It will come with blue, black, and gold color options.
It is priced at INR 18,990 or around PHP 14.7K out of straight conversion. It will be available in India starting June 28, 2018.
We still don't know yet if Samsung will bring this handset here in the Philippines soon.
