Instagram now has group video calling feature!

After reaching one billion monthly active users, photo-sharing app Instagram is ramping up its platform with group video calling as its latest feature.

Instagram video chat is here!

The Facebook-owned social media platform has now allowed users to chat up to four friends at a time in one video call. They only need to open the mobile app, tap the Direct Message button and look for the new camera icon in the right corner.

As more participants are added to the chat, the video expands. Fortunately, Instagram sets no time limits for this new feature.

Aside from that, Instagram is working to revamp its Explore section, which included Topic Channels, to let users to further discover new posts that fit your interests. Topics include Arts, Sports, Beauty, Fashion, as well as a list of hashtags.

Instagram also offers new camera effects designed by famous singer Ariana Grande, Buzzfeed, Liza Kosky, Baby Ariel, and NBA. The app only requires you to follow those accounts in order to try them.

This upgrade works for both iOS and Android smartphones.
