Muntinlupa works with PayMaya for the Muntinlupa Care Card Plus Program

PayMaya is at the forefront of the cashless payment revolution in the PH. Now, they are working with Muntinlupa City government for an advanced Citizen Card.

Muntinlupa now has the MCC Plus through PayMaya

At least 5,000 small businesses and merchant around Muntinlupa will have PayMaya QR as a payment method. This is connected to the Muntinlupa Care Card or MCC Plus program which is dubbed as the "most advanced LGU citizen card". This will enable citizens to do online shopping, pay bills, load up prepaid mobile credits and remittances.

In addition to that, it will also be serving as a benefits and rewards card for easier access to government services such as availing a free e-Jeepney ride around the city by tapping their MCC Plus before riding. This was made possible by the partnership of the Muntinlupa City Government, Lingkod Muntilupa Foundation and PayMaya.

There will be three kinds of MCC Plus which is broken done to color coding. Red Card is for senior citizens, Yellow Card is for ages 18 to 59 and the Blue Card is for 6 - 17 years old. Citizens can register at the City Hall of Muntilupa or the Ospital ng Muntilupa.

Here are the requirements:

• One (1) Valid ID
• Registration Fee: PHP 60 for Red Card
• PHP 80 for Yellow Card and PHP 75 for Blue Card

Note: Blue Card applicants also need to have their parent or guardian do the registration for them.

The Card Membership will be valid for 4 years. For PWD and senior citizen, the yearly renewal will be for free. The Blue and Yellow Card holders will have to pay PHP 50 for that. The MCC Plus cards can also be linked to a PayMaya account using the PayMaya app.

Adding funds is also easy and accessible as they can add funds through more than 20,000 Add Money touchpoints nationwide.
