Honor 8X leaks, could launch soon?

A new leak from China revealed the box of a possible upcoming Honor smartphone. Based on its label, it will be the Honor 8X.

The box of the alleged Honor 8X also showed that it will be powered by AI. The rest of the specs and details regarding this device are unknown though.

The source of the leak stated that it could have good price/performance ratio and excellent quality like other Honor phones. It could also use a new generation of Kirin processors. Most likely, it is the Kirin 710 with AI and Mali-G51 MP4 GPU which was designed to power mid-range smartphones.

This new Honor device could be announced late this month or in October.

GizmoChina also reported that this device could be the Honor ARE-AL00 that appeared on TENAA recently.

It has a massive 7.12-inch screen with 2244 x 1080 resolution, 18:7:9 screen aspect ratio, 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, microSD card slot, 4,900mAh battery, 16MP + 2MP dual cameras, and Android 8.1 Oreo w/ EMUI 8 skin.

TENAA also revealed that it measures at 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.13 mm.
