The reason was we lost too much money and our commission is too low. Because of this, the last smartphone from Infinix was its Note 5 Android One, which was made known to the public recently.

It is exclusively available on Lazada starting last August 1. The device boasts a glossy glass back cover and a 6-inch 18:9 TFT LCD screen with FHD+ 2160 x 1080 resolution.

For its optics, rear and selfie cameras have 12MP and 16MP, respectively. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and is powered by 4,500mAh battery capacity.

Such a steal, right?

This news might have saddened some of us as Infinix has brought affordable smartphones yet packed with powerful features.

Even though its smartphone business has ended, Infinix will keep its after sales service and follow its warranty.

Yu also said the company will focus instead to introduce new smart accessories in the local market, like powerbank, smartwatch, headsets, electric toothbrush, among others.

We speculate that the rising popularity of other smartphone brands, like Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi, has hurt the business of Infinix.

We hope Infinix can recover and find its way back to our country.
