The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is officially launched today. But what's to like about it apart from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 we had last year?

1. New S-Pen - This is the top highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Note9. It is now constantly connected to the phone via a separate Bluetooth module that works without interrupting the other Bluetooth module used to connect to other accessories. This can even be used as a remote for camera, Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and many more even as far as 10 feet!

2. Improved DeX - Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Note9's DeX is now built-in without the need of dock. All you need is an HDMI cable to enable the DeX mode and screen mirroring. 

3. More powerful - It is equipped with 1.79GHz 64-bit Exynos 9810 octa-core processor with Mali-G72 MP18 GPU. With the ample amount of time that we have played with the Note9, the new processor made the smartphone even more powerful and speedy!

4. Bigger screen - The Note9 may only be an inch bigger than its predecessor, but for us its enough to make a sizable room to accommodate a more immersive display.

5. Larger battery - The more powerful Note9 is packed with 4,000mAh of battery apart from the 3,300mAh battery of the Note 8. The larger battery even supports Samsung's adaptive fast charging!

6. Improved lowlight photos - Upon taking enough photos under lowlight, we immediately noticed the improved grain control. We'll see more of this feature on our full review.

7. Better placement of the fingerprint scanner - The Samsung heard the suggestions of its fans for the better placement of the fingerprint scanner. It is now placed beneath the rear camera of the Galaxy Note9. 

8. Dolby Atmos speakers - For those who likes music, your ears would be satisfied because the Samsung Galaxy Note9 now supports Dolby Atmos! 

9. Nice selfies! - For us, this is by far the best selfie shooter smartphone of the Samsung among all of its phones. The 8MP selfie camera was able to shoot nice selfies with truer colors than its predecessor.
