Look: Xiaomi successfully conducted 5G test on the upcoming Mi MIX 3

After Xiaomi confirmed the OPPO Find X-like design of their soon to be released Mi MIX 3, another teaser surfaced online.

Referencing on a just posted photo of the unconfirmed prototype unit of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, it shows a "5G+" label next to the smartphone signal bars. Donovan Sung, Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management & Marketing of Xiaomi Global, posted the photo with a teaser caption of: "Sharing one more photo. Does anyone see anything interesting? 😎 #Xiaomi"

Similar with the not a week old posted photo by Lin Bin, President of Xiaomi on Weibo, it features slim bezels without notch and a pop-up camera just like with the OPPO Find X's. 

Roughly two hours after the teaser, Donovan Sung posted that they just successfully tested 5G data connections on "Xiaomi phones". He also added that they can't wait for the official rollout of 5G next year.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will be available by the end of October as confirmed by Bin. There's no any more confirmed specifications yet but as we know, Xiaomi aways packs their smartphones with powerful features and flagship-worthy materials.
