Motorola Moto P30 Note with 6.2-inch 19:9 screen and 5,000mAh battery now official

In China, Motorola silently launched the Moto P30 Note. It's a modern mid-ranger with P2i splash resistance, 19:9 notched screen, capable specs, and massive battery capacity.

The Moto P30 Note boasts a metal clad looking frame and back panel with a 6.2-inch 19:9 IPS screen with FHD+ 2246 x 1080 resolution at 402 ppi.

Under the hood, it goes with the usual Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. This SoC is paired with Adreno 509 GPU. This GPU is good enough to run some of the heavy games properly.

It is also paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable ROM.

One of the key selling point of this handset is its massive battery capacity. The P30 Note goes with 5,000mAh battery and TurboPower fast charging via USB Type-C.

On the camera part, it has a dual camera setup at the back and a single camera for selfies. It has a 16MP f/1.8 + 5MP f/2.2 camera with AF. The secondary sensor is for the depth/bokeh effect. In front, it has a single 12MP f/2.0 shooter with large 1.25μm size.

It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back for unlocking purposes.

In terms of connectivity, it has WiFi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack slot.

Interestingly, it loads with ZUI 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

The device measures at 176 x 156 x 8.398 mm and weighs at 198 g.

The Motorola Moto P30 Note has a starting price of CNY 1,999 or around PHP 15.6K for the 4GB RAM/64GB variant. The 6GB RAM/64GB ROM retails for CNY 2,299 or around PHP 18K.
