Xiaomi has silently dropped the price of the Redmi Note 5, the entry mid-range contender from the Chinese tech giant.

From PHP 10,490, the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant is now priced at just PHP 9,495. On the other hand, the higher-end 4GB RAM/64GB ROM model now retails at just PHP 10,990 from PHP 11,990.

As a refresher, the Redmi Note 5 has a 5.99-inch FHD+ screen, Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC, 4,000mAh battery, 12MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/2.0 Dual Pixel camera at the back, 13MP AI selfie camera, fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, and 4G LTE connectivity.
