Samsung parts ways with Intel as they opted for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 850 to power their newly launched 2-in-1 device, the Galaxy Book 2. Let's check it out.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 is now official 

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 has a 12-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display running at 2160 x 1440 resolution. As stated earlier, Samsung moved on from the Intel Core m3 processor of the first Galaxy Book and opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 octa-core processor clocked in at 2.96GHz. It has an Adreno 630 GPU. 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage. It also has a promised 20-hour battery life with adaptive fast charging.

Another highlight is the integrated X20 modem that supports Cat.18 LTE and up to 4X4 MIMO for Gigabit speeds when available. In terms of cameras, it has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It also has two AKG-tuned speakers with built-in Dolby Atmos support.

It is running Windows 10 in S Mode and comes with a detachable keyboard and S-Pen stylus.

Local availability is yet to be confirmed but it is going to be available online on November 2 AT&T, Microsoft Store and Samsung's website.

It is priced at USD 999.99 (PHP 53.7K) and will also be available in the US later next month at Sprint, Verizon and AT&T stores.
