In China, AnTuTu released a new list of the 10 highest scoring Android phones last October. Unsurprisingly, the top 3 benchmark results came from Kirin 980 powered phones.

Three new Android kings!
The Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20X are the new highest scoring smartphones at AnTuTu to unseat the ROG Phone. The Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20X got 311,840, 307,693, and 301,757 scores, respectively.

Next on the list is the new Black Shark Helo from Xiaomi, a gaming-grade smartphone powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 845 with massive 10GB of RAM. It got a score of 301,757. It is the first SD845 phone with an average score of over 300K points.
The original Black Shark got the number 5 spot with 293,544 followed by the Meizu 16, OnePlus 6, ROG Phone, Smartisan Nut R1, and Nubia Z18.
The ROG Phone only ruled AnTuTu for 1 month.

Most of the phones in the list are still powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC. But, the top 3 phones are powered by the Kirin 980 by Huawei.

It suggests that Huawei's Kirin 980 SoC, the first 7nm processor for Android is the new chip to beat.
