Build/Design - The Huawei Y6 2018 has great looks for the PHP 5,990 price tag. It has a nice polycarbonate body with tall 5.7-inch 18:9 screen.

However, it is clear that the Realme C1 looks even better. It has the more stylish 2.5D glass-like material at the back and the bigger 6.2-inch screen with taller 18:9 screen ratio and higher 88 percent of screen-to-body ratio. It is simply the more premium looking handset.

The C1 is also nearly as slim as the Y6 despite the huge difference in battery capacity.

Massive 6.2-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 3

Display - The Realme C1 looks like the better device in this department again. It goes with a bigger 6.2-inch HD+ screen and slimmer bezels. The pixel density of Y6 is just a bit higher. But overall, the screen with a notch of the C1 is bigger and looking better.

5.7-inch HD+ screen

Specs - A mismatch! The Realme C1 is simply the better handset overall. It is one of the very few with Snapdragon 450 processor and Adreno 506 GPU for gaming. Again, it is the same chip found on the Samsung Galaxy A6+ priced at PHP 22,990. The Realme C1 is just around PHP 5,490 to PHP 5,990.

Snapdragon 450 is clearly more powerful than the entry-level Snapdragon 425. Both has 2GB RAM and 16GB expandabl storage.

The Realme C1 has 4,230mAh of battery versus 3,000mAh of Huawei.

Cameras - The Huawei Y6 2018 has a single 13MP f/2.2 primary shooter. The C1 goes with a 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 dual-camera setup. Both has the 5MP sensor. However, the C1 has AI for intelligently beautified selfies.

Other features - Both comes with face unlock tech and 4G LTE connectivity. The Realme C1 has the higher Bluetooth 4.2 versus the Bluetooth 4.1 of the Y6. Both has GPS and dual SIM slots. Both runs with Android Oreo, but with different screens out of the box.

Based on their specs, the Huawei Y6 2018 is a good device for the price. However, the Realme C1 the much better bang-for-the-buck option. It is ahead in nearly every aspect compared with the Y6 2018.
