LG Electronics is updating their roster of soundbars. They partnered with Meridian, a pioneer in Hige-Res Audio to produce the three latest soundbar models they launched at CES 2019. These models are the SL10YG, SL9YG, and SL8YG. LG said that the soundstage they aim for is geared towards a more lifelike and immersive experience.

The three soundbar models all support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The support of these two audio technology promises realistic surround sound and good sound quality. The soundbars are also supported by AI for smart connectivity as well as voice recognition for the built-in Google Assistant.
XBOOM audio devices
Along with soundbars, LG also expanded their XBOOM lineup. XBOOM is a family of mini components, all-in-one units, portable Bluetooth speakers and AI ThinQ smart speakers. The new XBOOM products will have features like the DJ Star where users can be a DJ with party-oriented features to control their music. In addition, the Karaoke Star feature can suppress the vocals of any song you put on for you to sing along with.
Price and availability
