Xiaomi Mi 9 with 12GB RAM!
The first smartphone in the world launched with a 12GB RAM coupled with Snapdragon Qualcomm 855 was the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi's Founder Lei Jun just announced that the highest end model of Mi 9 will come with a whopping 12GB of RAM.
This special Xiaomi Mi 9 edition will feature a transparent back just like with the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition. It is also expected to carry the "Alita: Battle Angel" branding.
According to Mr. Lei Jun's post on Weibo, Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition will sport a 48MP primary rear camera, but that it will be a 7P lens with f/1.47 aperture rather than the 48MP 6P lens with f/1.75 aperture on the standard model.

The Mi 9’s in-display fingerprint scanner is optical, rather than ultrasonic. Xiaomi says the fifth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor hardware is 25 percent faster than the fourth-generation sensors.
It will also sport a Samsung-made AMOLED display. The screen will feature a waterdrop notch, decreased chin bezel size, in-screen ambient light sensor, and ultrasonic proximity sensor.
Xiaomi also promises that the Mi 9 series will have an "outstanding sound quality" and even mentioned it to be equivalent with the sound output of a 0.9cc large speaker box.
