Xiaomi exec leaks the possible Mi 9 phone with triple-camera setup

Recently, a Xiaomi executive was spotted with an unknown phone. It could be the prototype of the Mi 9.

The alleged Mi 9 showed that it has a curved glass back design that reminds us of the Mi 8 combined with the Huawei P20 Pro. Why? It has a vertically aligned triple-camera setup as well.

The image is from Xiaomi's product manager Wang Teng Thomas so this leak could be accurate.

Rumored specs of the smartphone include a screen with a big In-Display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage.

The triple-camera setup could feature Sony's 48MP IMX576 main shooter with a 12MP main camera, 3D ToF camera. The selfie camera is a 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor.
