Dell releases XPS 13 (2019) with top bezel camera placement in PH

First unveiled at CES 2019, Dell's 2019 edition of their iconic ultrabook, the XPS 13 is now available in the Philippines.

It comes with an improved design and a relocated webcam back on top of the display. Dell said that it is the smallest webcam on a phone yet at 2.25 mm. It is actually small enough to fit the slim top bezel of the XPS 13 (2019).

Super slim and near bezel-less design

It's a tiny 4-element lens camera which promises improved image quality, better noise reduction, and brighter/clearer performance even in low light. Since it is back on its original placement on top instead of the bottom placement, the alignment of your face to the web selfie camera will be back to normal.

It's a 13.3-inch laptop that looks this small

The new Dell XPS 13 features a machined aluminum super slim body with 13.3-inch 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 InfinityEdge touch display with Dell Cinema 2.0 tech, 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor, Intel UHD 620 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, up to 512GB SSD storage, and 52WHr battery with up to 11 hours of life.

It also has a backlit keyboard, fingerprint scanner, Killer 1435 802.11ac 2x2, Bluetooth 4.1, Windows 10 Home OS, and 1 year of premium onsite service.

The laptop will come in black and silver color options. Dell also introduced the new rose gold and white color. There's an arctic white and frost that will be available starting May 2019 as well.

Price and availability

Dell XPS 13 (9380) comes with a starting price of PHP 109,090 in the Philippines. It is now available at Dell stores and partner retailers nationwide.
