Recently, the Nova 5 with Kirin 810 visited AnTuTu tests and it got a benchmark score higher than Snapdragon 730.

The Nova 5 scored 237,000 points which is 13 percent higher versus the average 210K score of the Snapdragon 730 powered phones.

If you can recall, GPU is the weakness of the old Kirin 710. But now, its ARM's Mali-G52 MP6 GPU is nearly 3x faster than tan Mali-G51 MP4 of Kirin 710.

AnTuTu also showed that it is 25 percent more powerful than the Adreno 618 of Snapdragon 730.

Overall, it suggests that Kirin 810 is even faster than the 2017 Kirin 970 flagship chip.

Personally, I want to test the new Nova 5 first before jumping in to conclusion. But so far, it is looking to be a very promising mid-range chip.
