Lenovo Z6 with Snapdragon 730 and triple cameras to be announced in July

Following the earlier launch of Z6 Pro and Z6 Youth Edition, Lenovo is expected to announce the Z6 in July.

Lenovo Z6 coming to China in July

The announcement was confirmed by the company's Vice President Chang Cheng. He also confirmed some of the specs of the smartphone since the name was revealed last week. In terms of the processor, the Z6 has a Snapdragon 730 which will sit between the Z6 Pro's SD 855 and Z6 Youth Edition's SD 710.

It is also confirmed to have 8GB of RAM and a huge 4,000mAh battery with a 15W charger. In terms of the camera specs, it has three rear sensors which includes a 24MP f/1.8 Sony IMX576 sensor, 8MP telephoto lens with up to 2x loss-less zoom/8x hybrid zoom, and 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 16MP sensor with AI Beauty features.

It also sports a design similar to the ThinkPad laptops with G2+ curved frame and 10 layers of nano-scale coating to create a 3D effect at the back.

More details are expected to be released in the following weeks. The official date for the launch is yet to be announced as well.
