OLX Philippines officially moves to Carousell

OLX Philippines has finally moved to Carousell, two months after the Singapore-based buy and sell platform announced the acquisition of OLX' local business.

On its Facebook post, OLX Philippines said the merger happened on July 15, forming a single platform under carousell.ph. 

The merger only means that the wide variety of listing on OLX would be available on Carousell. The move also paved the way for more features for sellers, including free unli-posting for select categories, user reviews, smart listings, price suggestions, and improved in-app chat.

Carousell is also introducing premium visibility features, including Bump, which pushes your listing to the top; Top Spotlight, meanwhile, allows sellers to pin their listing to the top; and Profile Promotion for promotion of a seller's whole profile. 

Carousell was launched seven years ago in Southeast Asia, and is one of the fastest growing marketplace in the region. 

OLX Philippines, on the other hand, boasts its 13 years of experience in the industry. It has more than six monthly unique users.
