LG intros Slim French-Door refrigerators with upgraded freshness-keeping feature

Along with the front-loader washing machine and DUALCOOL Air Conditioner, LG Electronics (LG) introduced its latest Slim Frech Door refrigerators designed for the Asian market.

LG's Slim Frech Door refrigerators are the first of its kind with the company's Linear Cooling and DualCooling technologies engineered to ensure that food stays fresher for longer.

Stunning design without compromising on features

The company boasts that the new refrigerators come with luxurious-looking design with Matte Black or metallic silver finish and space-friendly sizes without compromising on features.

It is a fridge that's just 835 mm wide, that's even smaller than traditional refs with 850 to 900 mm size.

Core features

The Slim French-Door refrigerators come in InstaView Door-in-Door with SpacePlus Ice System for ice whenever it is needed. Furthermore, it has a Folding Shelf to create extra space for tall and bulky items.

It also comes with Soft LED Panel Light and Square Pocket Handle with a gentle yet bright glow that helps protects users' eyes while fully illuminating what's inside the refrigerator.

The company said that Linear Cooling is powered by the Inverter Linear Compressor which keeps the temperature fluctuates within ±0.5 degrees Celius. On the other hand, LG claimed that DualCooling maintains even temperature throughout the refrigerator.

Since LG's new refs are packed with the company's Inverter Linear Compressor, they consume 32 percent less energy.

ThinQ ready

Like most modern LG appliances, it can be remotely controlled with a smartphone using the SmartThinQ app. You can also monitor its status and quickly diagnose any issue using the app.

Lastly, it comes with a 10-year warranty for your peace of mind.

Price and availability

There's no word regarding the price of LG's French-Door refrigerators yet. But, we are sure that it will go official in the Philippines.
