According to the latest Canalys report, OPPO has surpassed both Samsung and Vivo to be the number one smartphone brand in the Philippines.

Canalys: OPPO is number 1 in the PH
OPPO came out on top in terms of smartphone market share for Q2 2019 in the Philippines.
According to the report, OPPO took 28 percent of the Philippine smartphone market share. Samsung comes in at number 2 with 19 percent while Vivo got 17 percent which is good enough for third place.
OPPO did not stop in the Philippines though as it also achieved success in Indonesia where it got 26 percent market share. OPPO also managed to come in second in other Southeast Asian countries namely Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
During Q2 2019, OPPO managed to ship around 7.3 million smartphones in the SEA region which is just a tad behind Samsung's 7.7 million units. Vivo has 4.1 million for third place while Xiaomi comes in at fourth with 3.7 million units.
Realme also made its debut in the top 5 with around 1.6 million units.
