Is this HONOR’s gateway to the gaming arena?

HONOR Gamepad is a controller for smartphones and connects to USB-C port of the HONOR 20 Pro through USB Type-C cable. Don’t get confused though, because this is connected via Bluetooth rather than USB-C. What is the cable for? The company explains that this accessory can charge from the phone via USB-C if its battery is low. But then, with its 400mAh battery, this will surely last for hours of gaming.

The company says the GamePad works generally with games in the market that support Bluetooth controls. It has 4D-pad buttons, a shoulder button, and an extra button for the user's gameplay, similar to half part of a Nintendo Switch. The users can configure the buttons on the pad per game whenever they want.

Why HONOR 20 Pro is considered a good match?

What makes the company choose HONOR 20 Pro for this gaming accessory? The phone has capable specs: a 6.26-inch FHD+ All-View display, Kirin 980 processor, 4,000mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

It is not clear if this accessory will work only with HONOR smartphones, but the adjustable size appears to be compatible with other smartphones too.

The HONOR GamePad will be sold first in Western Europe according to the launch. No announcements yet on pricing availability but we will have you updated regarding these details.
