Huawei releases Nova 5T with killer specs in the Philippines, priced at PHP 18,990!

Surprise! Huawei has just released the Nova 5T in the Philippines and as expected, it is arguably the most exciting phone that your money can buy for the price.

As a quick recap, Nova 5T is the very first Nova 5 series phone to launch in the country. It is a phone which highlights a holographic glass back design in black, crush blue, and midsummer purple with unique-looking reflections.

In front, it uses a 6.26-inch punch-hole IPS display with FHD+ resolution and 91.7 percent of screen-to-body ratio. As of writing, it is the most affordable phone with a punch-hole display in the country yet.

Inside, it runs the flagship-grade 7nm 2.6GHz 64-bit Kirin 980 octa-core processor with Dual-NPU and Mali-G76 MP10 GPU with GPU Turbo 3.0 technology that supports more games.

It is paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB non-expandable storage, and 3,750mAh battery with USB-C 22.5 SuperCharge support. It can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

On the camera part, it is also the most affordable with quad-cameras yet. It uses a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 w/ PDAF and CAF, 16MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle cam, 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro, and 2MP f/2.4 depth camera.

This device also highlights a 32MP f/2.0 sensor with AI HDR technology.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead of an In-Display fingerprint sensor.
