A new Redmi phone with model number M1908C3IC has just been certified in China. It is believed to be the Redmi 8.

The Redmi 8?
The alleged Redmi 8 features a streamlined curved back design reminiscent of the OPPO Reno. In the middle of its back, you'll find an LED flash with a dual-camera setup and fingerprint scanner below. It is followed by the Redmi branding with a "Designed by Xiaomi" label.

In front, it goes with a dot drop notch. TENAA reveals that its display is 6.2-inch big.
Inside, it might come with a 2.0GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM/16GB storage/ 3GB RAM/32GB storage/4GB RAM/64GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging support.
There's a 12MP main camera paired with a 5MP selfie camera and an 8MP selfie camera as well.
It might also feature an IR blaster remote.
The phone measures at 156.3 x 75.4 x 9.4 mm and weighs at 190 grams.
The rest of the missing details are unknown for now.
But since it is listed on TENAA already, the launch of this device could happen pretty soon.
