Lazada announces 9.9 sale, intros bills payment, helicopter tours, and more!

In an event yesterday, Lazada formally announced the 9.9 Big Discovery Sale along with its new services in the Philippines.

9.9 Big Discovery Sale

The 9.9 Big Discovery Sale will happen on September 9, 2019, from 12MN to 11:59PM. According to Lazada, it will come with over 9 million deals with up to 90 percent off from local sellers, leading international brands, and cross-border products at Lazada's marketplace, LazMall, and Laz Global.

Lazada also introduced a new pre-sale feature to give new and loyal Lazada shoppers a head start and more time to lock in their purchases. All they need to do is simply order an item, put a 10 percent non-refundable deposit, and settle the balance within the validity period.

The service was first introduced in Malaysia and now, it is here in the Philippines.

Convenient Bills Payment - Lazada now has a way for more convenient bills payment. Yu can now pay your Meralco, Maynilad, Manila Water, Albay Power & Energy, Davao Light, VECO, Metropolitan Cebu Water and Prime Water bills in the Lazada app.

Collection points for Lazada

Accessible Collection Points - It is designed for the on-the-go Filipino shoppers which will allow them to pick up items at their preferred time. Collection points are spread-out all-over Manila in select SM Malls and GrowSari branches.

To use this feature, select pickup instead of delivery when you shop checkout your items.

Personal Consumer Loans - With Lazada's e-financing partners such as BillEase, pera247, and TendoPay, its customers can now apply for load as low as PHP 500 to PHP 50,000.

All you need to do is complete the application process and submit all needed requirements. Once approved, loan amount will be credited to your Lazada Wallet which you can use upon checkout. Loan schemes will be offered in one to 12 months repayment options to help reduce the pressure of having to shell out a hefty amount at one go for big purchases.
