LG G8s ThinQ with SD855 and triple-cam announced

Along with the Q60, LG has released the G80s for the Indian market. LG G8s is similar to the pricier G8 ThinQ but slightly lesser in specs.

Slightly toned-down G8

It uses a 6.21-inch OLED display but it is now using an FHD+ 2248 x 1080 resolution coming from 1440p.

Under the hood, it still has the same 7nm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It is paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and 3,550mAh battery capacity with USB-C charging.

The cameras are a bit less powerful than G8. It uses a triple-camera setup with 12MP f/1.8 main + 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide + 12MP f/2.6 2x telephoto.

For selfies, it has an 8MP f/1.9 main + ToF secondary cameras. The handset also has a fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE, and Android 9 OS out of the box. 

In India, it has a respectable price tag of INR 36,990 or around PHP 27.2K before taxes and duties. It will be available starting September 29.

There's no word about its global availability yet.
