Of course, Xiaomi is not yet done this year. After the release of Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro, it seems like the company is prepping for the launch of its budget version soon. Why? A new listing from TENAA China revealed images of the Redmi 8A.

TENAA only showed the back, front, left, and right sides of the phone

At the back, it highlights an OPPO Reno-like design with a stripe of darker blue with "Designed by Xiaomi" and Redmi texts. It also revealed that it has a single camera setup with a single LED flash. In front, there is a 2.5D curved display with a notch.

That's everything we know for now though. But based on Xiaomi's track record, we can expect the Redmi 8A to be better in most aspects versus the current Redmi 7A.

To recall, Redmi 7A is a phone with a 5.45-inch Gorilla Glass protected screen, Snapdragon 439 chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, and 12MP f/2.2 Sony IMX486 main cam.

We'll see and we'll keep you guys updated!
