As it had promised, Vivo launched the V17 Pro in an event in India. It's the upgrade of the V15 Pro with an all-new design, improved display, larger battery, and a lot of cameras.

V15 Pro upgrade!
First, the main new feature of this device that you will surely notice first its dual-selfie camera. It uses a 32MP f/2.0 Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor for clarity paired with an 8MP f/2.2 105-degree ultra wide-angle secondary camera.

"Clear as Real" cameras? |
The cool thing about its selfie cams is it now has a Super Night Selfie to allow users take better selfies in the dark.

Quad-cam |
Second, it now has four cameras at the back. Coming from the V15 Pro, it now uses a 48MP f/1.78 Sony IMX582 main sensor instead of the lower-end Samsung 48MP camera.
It is paired with a 13MP f/2.5 2x telephoto primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with 2.5cm Super Macro mode, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera for bokeh effect.
There is an LED flash for low light snaps as well.
Third, the phone now has a larger 6.44-inch AMOLED display from just 6.39-inch. The cool new thing about it is it has a taller 20:9 screen aspect ratio from 19:5:9.
Lastly, it now has 4,100mAh battery with USB-C 18W Dual Engine fast charging from 3,700mAh with micro USB Dual Engine fast charging.
The rest of the specs are similar to the V15 Pro.

I like the overall upgrades of the phone, except for the chipset part. It still loads with the same 2.0GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 675 AIE octa-core processor.
While the 11nm Snapdragon 675 is still quite capable, I would have liked it better if Vivo used the faster SD712 or SD730 instead.
